Hong Kong is the usual choice for someone who buys in China and sells in the Gulf or Europe without planning to live in mainland China: no restrictions on moving foreign currency, low tax on profits earned outside Hong Kong, and a setup that in most cases does not need you there in person.
The package is one price: ¥8,900 covers the company registration and business licence, the registered address, and the accounting service. A Hong Kong bank account is added for ¥1,700.
When Hong Kong suits you, and when it does not
- It suits you if you want an international entity that receives from your customers and pays your suppliers in dollars without restrictions.
- It does not suit you if you need a work residence permit in mainland China or a Chinese import-export licence; then a company in Shenzhen or Guangzhou fits better, and we explain the difference before you choose.
