Corporate bank account opening
A bank account for your Chinese company in yuan and foreign currencies, or for your Hong Kong company. We book the appointment, prepare the file and accompany you at the bank.
The bank account is what makes a company actually usable: it is how you receive from customers, pay suppliers, and connect Alipay and WeChat Pay. But Chinese banks scrutinise foreign-owned companies, and an incomplete file or a muddled answer in the interview means a refusal and months of waiting before the next attempt.
We know what each bank asks, prepare the file accordingly, and sit with you at the appointment to translate and explain.
The options
- Mainland China company account: yuan, dollars and other currencies, with online banking. From ¥1,400.
- Hong Kong company account: for those who need more freedom moving foreign currency. From ¥1,700; requires a company registered in Hong Kong.
Most banks require the legal representative in person; a few accept remote opening in specific cases. Tell us your situation and we will match the bank.
